On Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, Be the Light Association partnered with Pontiac United to celebrate Chinese New Year with students from the Free After School Tutoring Program. The students enjoyed a vibrant cultural showcase that brought the festive spirit of the holiday to life. The celebration featured an authentic Chinese tea ceremony, where students learned about this cherished tradition while savoring fragrant teas. Traditional Chinese dance performances filled the room with grace and energy, captivating the young audience.
